Where shall we go?
We are heading to the home of world-famous hops Saaz semi-early red-bine hops and excellent beer. But you will find much more here—entertainment, history, and adventure, too.
At the Temple of Hops and Beer complex, you will find a hop lighthouse, a hop labyrinth, an alchemist's study, a coat-of-arms hall, and even the world's largest hop museum.
As part of a guided tour, you can walk through the labyrinth, wandering among hop bales. You can also climb the spiral staircase of the Hop Lighthouse to the top of the observation tower for a beautiful view of Žatec and the surrounding area.
You will also find a hop-themed astronomical clock, the Sladovna Gallery, and a monastery garden here.
Route and useful information
The Temple of Hops and Beer is located 15 km from Národní dům Podbořany. It takes about 15 minutes by car, 20 km by bike, or under 30 minutes by bus.
